Istanbul Stock Exchange First Session

NATIONAL-100 INDEX DROPS TO 15,876.66 WITH A DECREASE OF 531.67 POINTS

ISTANBUL - The Istanbul Stock Exchange (IMKB) National-100 Index in Thursday's first session decreased 531.67 points to 15,876.66 and shares lost 3.24 percent in value when compared with prices at the close of previous second session.
At the close of the first session, the financial index decreased 831.21 points to 21,374.66, the industrial index fell 329.28 points to 14,222.17 and the services index dropped 253.64 points to 8,598.63.
The financial shares lost 3.74 percent in value, the industrial shares lost 2.26 percent in value and the services shares lost 2.87 percent in value.
A total of 235 of the 287 shares lost in value, 25 shares gained in value and the price of 27 shares remained unchanged.
The trading volume was 543.6 trillion Turkish liras.
