MARDIN - Swedish Parliamentary Human Rights Solidarity Commission Chairman Anne Ludvigsson said on Wednesday that Turkey passed very good laws on legal platform, but there were some shortcomings in implementation.
Swedish delegation visited Mardin Governor Temel Kocaklar.
Replying to questions of reporters before meetings, Ludvigsson said that there were very important developments on human rights in Turkey and stated that but there were some shortcomings in implementation. Ludvigsson added that some people had complaints about some issues including freedom of expression and gathering.
Ludvigsson added that they were in favor of Turkey's EU membership.
