Customs Officials Seize 75.5 Kg Heroin

ANKARA - Customs officials seized on Wednesday almost 75.5 kilograms of heroin at Cilvegozu Border Gate.
A statement of Customs Undersecretariat said that customs officials and security forces in Iskenderun town of southern Hatay province, acting on a tip-off, stopped a truck which was loaded with books and booklets at the border gate and seized 75.5 kilograms of heroin in the truck.
The statement noted that the heroin had a market value of around 11 trillion 325 billion Turkish liras (TL).
