ANKARA - State Minister Guldal Aksit received on Wednesday Chinese Ambassador in Ankara Song Aiguo.
Speaking at the meeting, Aksit said relations between Turkey and China would increase gradually.
Aksit appreciated the importance attributed by Chinese government to women, family and children despite population intensity, and noted that the federation founded by China in this respect constituted a very important example to the world.
Aksit said the importance Turkey attributed to women increased since the first years of Republic.
Ambassador Song Aiguo in his part wished political, economic and cultural relations between the two countries to be improved, noting that women have the right to speak in many fields in China.
Song, who spoke in Turkish, appreciated Ataturk, the Founder of Modern Turkish Republic, and stressed that he read many books about Ataturk when he was a student. Song invited Aksit to China.
