ANKARA - Finnish Foreign Minister Erkki Tuomioja will come to Turkey on Thursday.
Foreign Ministry stated on Wednesday that Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan would receive Tuomioja and accompanying delegation who would come to Ankara on Thursday evening.
Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul and Tuomioja will chair meetings between delegations of two countries on Friday. Tuomioja will also be received by President Ahmet Necdet Sezer and then he will meet with Parliament-European Union (EU) Adjustment Commission Deputy Chairman Onur Oymen and Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Commission members.
Sides will take up Turkey-Finland bilateral relations on every aspects especially on political and economic fields and will exchange views on Turkey-EU relations, issues regarding the future of EU, important international issues such as Iraq and Middle East and other regional issues.
Tuomioja and accompanying delegation will depart from Turkey on Friday evening.
