Erdogan: Some Changes Can Be Made In Progress Report Till Last Moment

ANKARA - Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Wednesday that some changes could be made in the progress report to be unveiled by the European Union (EU) when commenting on possibility of bringing onto agenda Cyprus issue in the report.
Replying to questions of reporters if the fact that Cyprus issue was brought on the EU agenda could create a serious obstacle before Turkey's expectations from EU and what he thought about recent maneuver, Erdogan said, ''it is not the final progress report. The commission is holding a meeting at the moment. It will be beneficial to see the result of this meeting. After the result, our Foreign Minister will make necessary statement this evening on behalf of the government.
Asked if he met with EU leaders, Erdogan said, ''our counselors held necessary meetings. We have conveyed our views to the Commission.''
