ANKARA - Turkey-Poland Interparliamentary Friendship Group and Polish Embassy in Ankara organized a short essay competition among secondary school students.
Speaking in a news conference with Polish Ambassador to Turkey Andrzej Anannicz, Turkey-Poland Interparliamentary Friendship Group Chairman Murat Yılmazer said that Poland had a different place for the Turkish nation.
Noting that there was an agreement on education and culture between the two countries, Yılmazer said that they organized a short essay competition to bring together the young persons of the two countries.
Yılmazer said that the students would write on ''young persons in Poland and their problems'' ''dreams and realities about Poland'' ''Poland and Democracy,'' adding that the essays would be sent to Polish Embassy.
Yılmazer stated that the results would be announced on November 28.
Polish Ambassador to Turkey Andrzej Ananick said that the relations between the two countries were perfect and that they would support activities to improve the relations between peoples of the two countries.
