ISTANBUL - Prime Minister Guy Verhofstadt of Belgium, who is currently paying an official visit to Turkey, met on Tuesday with directors of the Turkish Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (TUSIAD).
The meeting held at Istanbul's Conrad Hotel, lasted for about an hour.
During the meeting, the Progress Report of the European Union (EU) and Turkey's EU membership process was taken up.
TUSIAD Executive Board Chairman Tuncay Ozilhan, TUSIAD International Chairman Aldo Koslowski and executive board members Cem Duna, Sadi Gucum and Omer Aras attended the meeting.
Later, Prime Minister Verhofstadt partook in a luncheon hosted in his honor by Turkey-Belgium Business Council and Turkey-Belgium Trade Association.
