ANKARA - One Japanese tourist was killed and several others were injured Tuesday when their bus swerved and overturned in the central Turkish province of Konya, the Anatolia news agency reported.
The cause of the accident was not immediately clear but Anatolia said the bus, carrying 26 people, swerved out of control, crossed into the opposite lane and turned on its side.
The agency said several Japanese tourists were injured in the accident and were taken to nearby hospitals.
Local police declined to comment.
