NATIONAL-100 INDEX RISES TO 16,341.19 WITH AN INCREASE OF 238.65 POINTS
ISTANBUL - The Istanbul Stock Exchange (IMKB) National-100 Index in Monday's second session increased 238.65 points to 16,341.19 and shares gained 1.48 percent in value when compared with prices at the close of previous first session.
At the close of the second session, the financial index increased 477.79 points to 22,114.33 and the industrial index rose 68.53 points to 14,581.09 while the services index increased 68.43 points to 8,676.42.
The financial shares gained 2.21 percent in value and the industrial shares gained 0.47 percent in value while the services shares gained 0.79 percent in value.
A total of 124 of the 291 shares gained in value, 115 shares lost in value, and the price of 52 shares remained unchanged.
The trading volume in the second session was 725.4 trillion Turkish liras (TL), and daily trading volume was 1 quadrillion 518.3 trillion (TL).
