Istanbul Stock Exchange First Session

NATIONAL-100 INDEX RISES TO 16,102.54 WITH AN INCREASE OF 348.20 POINTS

ISTANBUL - The Istanbul Stock Exchange (IMKB) National-100 Index in Monday's first session increased 348.20 points to 16,102.54 and shares gained 2.21 percent in value when compared with prices at the close of previous second session.
At the close of the first session, the financial index increased 470.89 points to 21,636.54, the industrial index climbed 324.21 points to 14,512.56 and the services index rose 89.55 points to 8,607.99.
The financial shares gained 2.22 percent in value, the industrial shares gained 2.29 percent in value and the services shares gained 1.05 percent in value.
A total of 164 of the 286 shares gained in value, 75 shares lost in value and the price of 47 shares remained unchanged.
The trading volume was 792.8 trillion Turkish liras.
