Police Seize 84 Kg Of Heroin In Istanbul

ISTANBUL - Police on Saturday seized 84 kg of heroin in a truck in Istanbul.
Istanbul Narcotics said that acting on intelligence, police stopped and searched a truck destined for the Netherlands and Britain and confiscated 84 kg of heroin hidden in a secret compartment of the truck in Istanbul.
Officials said that police detained the truck driver and were searching for three other suspects for involvement in the smuggling.
Investigation is under way.
