Police Seize 165 Kg Of Heroin In Yuksekova

YUKSEKOVA - Police on Friday seized 165 kg of heroin stashed in a truck destined for Europe in Yuksekova township of southeastern province of Hakkari.
Police stopped and searched the truck near the town Yuksekova acting on intelligence and found 165 kg of heroin stashed in the truck.
Officials said that the market value of the heroin was 10 trillion Turkish liras (TL).
Police detained the truck driver and are searching for 10 other suspects for involvement in the smuggling.
Investigation is under way.
