Energy Minister Guler Leaves For Syria

ISTANBUL - Energy and Natural Resources Minister Hilmi Guler left on Friday for Syria to attend meetings of EIJLST, which is a regional energy cooperation organization.
Formation of regional interconnection system and opportunities for cooperation in energy field will be taken up in the meeting in which energy ministers of Turkey, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria will participate.
The project of ''peace water'' which was developed by Turkey to meet water need of regional countries is also expected to be brought onto the agenda in the meeting.
