Istanbul Stock Exchange First Session

NATIONAL-100 INDEX RISES TO 15,631.25 WITH AN INCREASE OF 251.53 POINTS

ISTANBUL - The Istanbul Stock Exchange (IMKB) National-100 Index in Friday's first session increased 251.53 points to 15,631.25 and shares gained 1.64 percent in value when compared with prices at the close of previous second session.
At the close of the first session, the financial index increased 332.99 points to 20,881.73, the industrial index increased 222.34 points to 14,158.39 and the services index rose 111.63 points to 8,530.77.
The financial shares gained 1.62 percent in value, the industrial shares gained 1.60 percent in value, while the services shares gained 1.33 percent in value.
A total of 158 of the 286 shares gained in value, 50 shares lost in value and the price of 78 shares remained unchanged.
The trading volume was 709.8 trillion Turkish liras.
