BAGHDAD - Iraqi police have found the corpses of 60 murder victims scattered around Baghdad, security officials said Tuesday, as a dirty war between rival Sunni and Shiite factions gripped the city.
Defence and interior ministry officials said the bodies had been found on Monday in various parts of the city. Most had been shot dead at close range, the hallmark of death squads that roam the capital at night.
