ROME - Interreligious Dialogue Conference started in Rome on Thursday.
State Minister Mehmet Aydin represents Turkey at the conference. Member and candidate countries to the European Union (EU) participate in the conference that is in ministerial level.
Five clergymen, representing Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, will deliver speeches at the conference.
The meetings will be closed to the press following opening speech of Italian Interior Minister Giueseppe Pisanu.
Pope Jean Paul II is expected to receive the participants on Friday.
