Istanbul Stock Exchange First Session

NATIONAL-100 INDEX RISES TO 14,796.15 WITH AN INCREASE OF 122.75 POINTS

ISTANBUL - The Istanbul Stock Exchange (IMKB) National-100 Index in Thursday's first session increased 122.75 points to 14,796.15 and shares gained 0.84 percent in value when compared with prices at the close of previous second session.
At the close of the first session, the financial index increased 297.56 points to 19,680.55, the industrial index increased 44.83 points to 13,526.85 and the services index rose 0.09 points to 8,209.84.
The financial shares gained 1.54 percent in value, the industrial shares gained 0.33 percent in value, while the services shares didn't gain any significant value.
A total of 137 of the 284 shares gained in value, 73 shares lost in value and the price of 74 shares remained unchanged.
The trading volume was 328.8 trillion Turkish liras.
