ANKARA - Turkish and Swiss foreign ministries held third round of political consultations in Turkish capital of Ankara on October 2nd, Turkish Foreign Ministry (MFA) spokesman Namik Tan said today.
In a weekly press briefing, Tan said that MFA Undersecretary Ali Tuygan represented Turkey in the meetings while Ambassador Michael Ambuehl headed the Swiss delegation.
Tan noted that regional and international topics, Turkey-EU relations as well as Turkish-Swiss relations were debated in the meetings.
In the meeting, Turkish and Swiss diplomats agreed to enhance their dialogue and cooperation, he stated.
Tan added that the next round will be held in Bern.
