KUSADASI - Friendly relations between Turkey and Greece has positive impact on Turkish tourism.
A total of 45 thousand tourists came from Samos island of Greece to Kusadasi town of Aegean Aydin province in the last four months and almost 1 million U.S. dollars was obtained from these tourists.
Azim Tour Tourism Management Company's owner Unver Gazez told A.A correspondent on Wednesday that around 250-300 Greek tourists were coming to Kusadasi a day.
Gazez said that those tourists were spending at least 10 dollars each and Kusadasi raised an income of approximately 100 thousand U.S. dollars from those tourists a month.
''Greek tourists spend almost 1 million U.S. dollars till the end of the season. We should increase our market share to increase this figure. Bigger ferries should start voyages if necessary. There will be tourists in Kusadasi in the winter if we achieve this,'' Gazez added.
