BERLIN - German Chancellor Angela Merkel will arrive in Turkey on Thursday on a two-day formal visit.
20-member delegation including businessmen will accompany Merkel during her visit to Turkey. Several issues including Iraq, Iran, Middle East and economic relations between the two countries will be discussed during her visit.
Merkel will be received by Turkish President Ahmet Necdet Sezer and she is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Erdogan and Merkel will proceed to Istanbul to hold talks with Turkish and German businessmen and they will also attend Turkish-German Economy Forum.
