ISTANBUL - Turkish National Education Minister Huseyin Celik left for St. Petersburg, Russia on Wednesday to attend the 3rd Europe and Central Asia Education Conference.
Several matters including education reform in Russia, investment in youth, mass education, qualifications for information economy, vocational education, secondary education programs and boosting quality of education will be discussed during the conference.
Celik will deliver a speech on practices in Turkish education system and cooperation with international organizations within the scope of the conference.
He will also hold several bilateral talks during his visit to Russia.
