Sagir Of Turkey Wins Three Medals In Men`s 77 Kg
SANTO DOMINGO - Taner Sagir of Turkey won three medals in men`s 77 kg category at the 75th World Weightlifting Championships in Dominican Republic.
Sagir won silver medal by lifting 166 kg in snatch, bronze medal by lifting 195 kg in clean & jerk, and gold medal with 361 kg in total. He clinched his first world championship in his career.
Meanwhile, Izzet Ince of Turkey will compete in men`s 85 kg today.
Last Monday, Mete Binay of Turkey won silver medal by lifting 147 kg in snatch in men`s 69 kg.
