ANKARA - Consumer prices index increased 1.29 percent while producer prices index dropped 0.23 percent in September 2006, stated Turkish Board of Statistics (TUIK) on Tuesday.
According to TUIK`s figures on basis of 2003, annual inflation rate as of September has become 10.55 percent in consumer prices index while 11.19 percent in producer prices.
Meanwhile, price increase in the first 9 months of 2006 is 6.65 percent in consumer prices and 11.54 percent in producer prices.
According to 12-month average as of September, inflation rate has become 9.05 percent in consumer prices and 7.06 percent in producers prices.
