ANKARA - International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation will arrive in Turkey next week for the 5th review talks, sources told the A.A on Tuesday.
The delegation will be led by IMF Turkey Desk Chief Lorenzo Giorgianni. Another group of IMF experts will hold meetings in Istanbul next week as well.
The 5th review discussions are expected to be completed by the Ramadan holiday on October 23rd.
IMF Executive Directors Board will approve the 5th review in November.
During 5th review talks, officials will discuss income policies, 2007 budget, developments in inflation, inflation targeting, monetary & finance policies, developments in finance sector and banking, restructure of state banks and developments about the year 2006.
According to stand-by program with IMF, the 6th review will also be completed by the end of 2006 within the scope of a total of 10 reviews. IMF will pursue three reviews in 2007 and the last one in 2008.
