ANTALYA - 5.5 million tourists have visited Antalya in the first nine months of 2006.
According to the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, 5,532,660 tourists arrived in Antalya with airplanes in the first nine months of 2006.
793,676 tourists visited Antalya in September. Yesterday, Antalya received 34,407 tourists.
Most tourism experts believe that the tourism season in Turkey in 2006 was worse than last year`s. However, these experts expressed that they are optimistic about next year.
