ISTANBUL - Exports from Turkey were up by 10.48 percent in September 2006, compared to September 2005, Turkish Exporters` Assembly (TIM) announced on Sunday.
Releasing a statement, TIM noted that Turkey earned 7.7 billion USD from its exports in September 2006.
It indicated that Turkey`s exports in the first nine months of the year (between January and September) rose by 14.97 percent to 61.5 billion USD when compared to the same period of 2005.
Turkey`s year-on-year exports were up 13.31 percent, and exceeded 81 billion USD.
