ANKARA - State Minister Ali Babacan and an accompanying delegation will leave Turkey for Morelia, Mexico on Friday to attend G-20 Ministers and Central Bank Governors meeting.
The delegation headed by Babacan will proceed on October 28 from Morelia to New York to attend a meeting entitled ''High-Level Dialogue on Financing for Development''.
Globalization, problems stemming from sources of global economic growth, preventing and solving crises, fight against finance of terrorism, supporting transparency and exchange of information and strategic priorities of G-20 in the future will be taken up in the G-20 Ministers and Central Bank Governors meeting on October 26.
Following the meeting, Babacan will also participate in the 7th round table meeting on ''the link between the progress in the implementation of the agreements and commitments reached at the International Conference on Financing for Development and the promotion of sustainable development, sustained economic growth and the eradication of poverty with a view to achieving an equitable global economic system'' of ''High-Level Dialogue on Financing for Development'' meeting in New York on October 29.
Babacan will also hold informal meetings and return to Turkey on November 1.
