ANTALYA - Yenigun Food Industry Company, operating in the southern city of Antalya, exports jam to five continents.
Ruhi Alpagot, the owner of Yenigun, told the A.A correspondent that foreign tourists visiting Antalya show great interest in jam, lokum (Turkish delight), candies and honey produced by his company.
Stating that Yenigun exports these products to Germany, the Netherlands, France, Britain, USA, Sweden, Malta, Sudan, Israel and Australia, Alpagot noted, "exports of jam, lokum, candies and honey amount to 1 million USD a year. We aim to boost production and exports by 20-25 percent annually."
