BISHKEK - The Turkish Cultural Centre and Library which was set up by Turkish Cooperation and Development Agency (TIKA) was opened on Thursday by State Minister Besir Atalay and Kyrgyz Deputy Interior Minister Omurbek Egemberdiev.
Everybody can benefit from the Turkish Cultural Centre and Library which is planned to be an information centre to promote Turkey. Briefings and meetings can also be held in the centre which has internet connection and library.
After the opening, State Minister Atalay was informed about the studies and projects of TIKA in Kyrgyzstan. Atalay also met with entrepreneurs who came to Kyrgyzstan within the scope of TIKA's projects. Atalay who listened to the problems of entrepreneurs, noted that things would be done to overcome those problem.
Anadolu Agency's Director General Hilmi Bengi, TIKA deputy chairman Faruk Uysal, some lecturers from Manas University attended the opening.
