SARAJEVO - Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul signed on Wednesday the book of condolence which was opened for death of former Bosnia-Herzegovina President Aliya Izzetbegovic.
Gul came to Sarajevo together with State Minister Ali Babacan and Finance Minister Kemal Unakitan to participate in the funeral of former Izzetbegovic.
Gul signed the book of condolence and said that they felt sorrow over death of Izzetbegovic who was a great leader and wise man and stated that Turkish people and government offered their condolences over death of Izzetbegovic to Bosnian people.
Babacan and Unakitan also signed the book of condolence.
Speaking to reporters, Gul said that Izzetbegovic who had a different personality was not only a great statesman and also a philosopher and added that death of Izzetbegovic was a big loss for Islamic world and whole world.
