BAGHDAD - Two US soldiers died Tuesday in what their command described as a "non-combat incident" southwest of the war-torn Iraqi capital Baghdad, coalition headquarters announced in a statement.
Both died at around 1:45 am (2145 GMT Monday), the statement said, but gave no further details.
The latest fatalities brought the number of US military personnel killed in the Iraq campaign since their March 2003 invasion to 2,703, according to an AFP count based on Pentagon figures.
