Elkatmis Meets With Secretary General Of Coepa Haller

STRASBOURG - Parliamentary Human Rights Investigation Commission Chairman Mehmet Elkatmis met on Tuesday with Bruno Haller, Secretary General of Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly (COEPA).
Justice and Development Party (AK Party) deputies Cavit Torun, Ahmet Gokhan Saricam and Hakan Tasci also attended the meeting. Reforms which were undertaken in human rights and democracy fields at Parliament were taken up in the meeting.
Haller told Parliamentary delegation that COEPA was pleased with reform activities of Turkey.
Elkatmis said that Parliament and government were determined in the continuation of reforms.
Elkatmis and the accompanying delegation will hold meetings in European Court of Human Rights tomorrow and return to Turkey on Thursday.
