BAGHDAD - The convoy carrying humanitarian aid sent by Turkish Red Crescent to Iraq reached Baghdad on Tuesday.
The distribution of aid comprising of tents, blankets, kerosene heaters, medicine and medical equipment worth of 286 thousand U.S. dollars will be started on Wednesday. Distribution will be made by the help of Iraqi Red Crescent.
Halil Altınkaya, who heads the convoy, told reporters that they were always supporting their Iraqi brothers and aid would continue.
