Photographs Of Zeugma Exhibited In Paris

PARIS - Photograph exhibition of ancient city Zeugma is opened at Tourism and Culture Consultancy in Paris.
Turkish Ambassador in Paris Uluc Ozulkuler made a speech in the opening of exhibition on Tuesday and said that culture history was everybody's heritage and added that Turkey was pleased to protect and promote Zeugma ruins.
Noting that some people and institutions abroad were spreading propaganda that Turkey did not protect its historical artifacts and it even destroyed them, Ozulkuler said that this exhibition was important for showing those claims were untrue.
Birecik Corp. Director General Yuksel Onaran said that Zeugma ruins were found coincidentally during a dam construction and gave information to guests how the ruins were kept under protection.
