BAGHDAD - A US soldier was killed in Baghdad after his vehicle was struck by a roadside bomb, the military announced Thursday.
The soldier died on Wednesday in northern Baghdad.
The latest fatality brings the US military's losses in Iraq since the invasion to 2,687, according to an AFP count based on Pentagon figures.
