Budget Draft Submitted To Parliament

ANKARA - Draft law on 2004 Fiscal Year Budget was submitted to parliament early on Saturday.
The draft estimates the budget as 160.9 quadrillion Turkish liras (TL) and the revenues as 114.5 quadrillion TL.
The draft targets a growth rate of 5 percent in 2004 while foresees that Gross National Product (GNP) will be 261.7 billion U.S. dollars.
The budget of 2004 estimates inflation rate as 12 percent and primary surplus as 6.5 percent.
The draft targets at 7.5 quadrillion TL of investments for the year 2004.
