Security Forces Detain Five People In Connection With Heroin Trafficking

EDIRNE - Security forces detained on Saturday five people in connection with 141 kilograms 430 grams of heroin seized at Kapikule Border Gate in northwestern Edirne province on Friday.
Sources said that security forces stopped a passenger bus belonging to Royal Tours company driven by a Romanian citizen at the Kapikule Border Gate on October 16.
Security forces confiscated 141 kilograms 430 grams of heroin hidden in the empty bus.
The heroin has a market value of 18 trillion Turkish liras (TL).
The driver of the bus, and four other people who repaired the bus in Istanbul were detained.
A full investigation is under way.
