Parliamentary Human Rights Investigation Commission Delegation To Visit French Prison

STRASBOURG - Parliamentary Human Rights Investigation Commission Chairman Mehmet Elkatmis and a delegation accompanying him will visit Strasbourg Prison.
The delegation, which is expected to arrive in Strasbourg to meet with Council of Europe officials, will visit Strasbourg Prison on October 21 and examine prison conditions.
The delegation will meet with COE Secretary General Walter Schwimmer on Monday.
The delegation is expected to return to Turkey on Thursday.
Human rights in Turkey and reforms carried out on democracy are expected to be discussed in meetings with European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) and Council of Europe.
