Sezer Congratulates Ilham Aliyev On Being Elected Azerbaijani President

ANKARA - President Ahmet Necdet Sezer congratulated on Thursday Ilham Aliyev on being elected as Azerbaijani President.
In his message, Sezer expressed belief that bilateral relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan would be further improved under leadership of Aliyev.
Sezer said that Turkey and Azerbaijan carried out joint projects aiming at regional development, adding that he believed that common responsibilities that two countries had undertaken for integration of the East with the West would further improve cooperation.

GUL CONGRATULATES ILHAM ALIYEV

Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul congratulated on Thursday Ilham Aliyev on being elected as Azerbaijani President.
In his message, Gul said that he had no doubts that Aliyev would make significant contributions to development of Azerbaijan.
Gul noted that close cooperation between Turkey and Azerbaijan not only contributed to prosperity of the two nations but also served regional peace and stability.
Foreign Minister Gul expressed belief that cooperation between two countries would be further improved under leadership of Aliyev.
