ANKARA - Banks' credit volume increased 448 trillion Turkish liras (TL) to 50 quadrillion 31.6 trillion TL between September 26 and October 3, 2003.
The total credit volume at banks was 49 quadrillion 583.6 trillion TL on September 26.
The credits given to financial sector were composed of 832.4 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 1 quadrillion 727.7 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
The credits given to non-financial sector were composed of 166.7 trillion TL of loans given by Central Bank, 42 quadrillion 831.1 trillion TL of loans given by deposit banks, and 4 quadrillion 473.6 trillion TL of loans given by development and investment banks.
