Foreign Ministers Of O.I.C. Member Countries Reach Agreement On Iraq Draft

KUALA LUMPUR - Foreign Ministers of the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC), who convened within the 10th Session of the Islamic Summit Conference of OIC, reached an agreement on draft on Iraq issue.

The draft, which foreign ministers will present to country leaders tomorrow, notes pleasure of OIC with Iraqi Governing Council and emphasized that the United Nations should have more central role in the issue.

The draft condemns terrorist attacks launched in Iraq.

OIC notes the importance of Iraq`s gaining its sovereignty rapidly and it says that a government which is recognized in international area should be elected in Iraq.

The draft notes the significance of every type of support to be given by every country to Iraqi people.
