BAGHDAD - Turkish Ambassador in Baghdad Osman Paksut said on Wednesday that the attack on Turkish Embassy in Baghdad would not negatively affect the issue of sending soldiers to Iraq.
Paksut said that it could be possible that a strong organization, which had a wide intelligence, was behind the attack as it was launched during a meal with Iraqi guests.
Paksut said that evacuation or closure of embassy due to attack was out of question, but activities of embassy were majorly interrupted.
Noting that officials of embassy had a high spirit, Paksut said that two Turkish citizens were injured after the attack.
Paksut said that investigation continued regarding the type of explosive.
