ANKARA - State Minister Ali Babacan said on Wednesday that the sixth review with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) was completed as of last night.
Babacan and IMF Turkey Desk Chief Reza Moghadam held a joint press conference in Treasury Undersecretariat.
State Minister Babacan said that pre-agreement was reached on all issues with the IMF.
Babacan emphasized that they expected IMF Executive Board to meet in November to discuss releasing loan for Turkey.
Macro-economic performances in 2003, public finance performance and structural reform process were taken up in meetings with IMF, Babacan said.
Babacan pointed out that macro-economic targets and budget of 2004 were also main issues taken up in their meetings.
