Central Bank Reduces Interest Rates

ANKARA - Central Bank reduced on Wednesday the short-term interest rates valid in repo and reverse repo market of Interbanks Monetary Market and Istanbul Stock Exchange (IMKB).
A statement released by Central Bank said that the overnight borrowing interest rate was decreased from 29 percent to 26 percent and the overnight lending interest rate was reduced from 35 percent to 31 percent. In other terms, one week borrowing interest rate was reduced from 29 percent to 26 percent.
