KOCAELI - China's Consul General in Istanbul Zhana Zhiliane has paid a visit to Governor of north-western city of Kocaeli Erdal Ata on Thursday.
Receiving Zhiliane, Ata told that Turkey and China share historical relations. "The trade volume with China has increased significantly in the past few years," said Ata. "Turkey imports most of its needs from China."
Zhiliane indicated that Turkey and China share warm political, economic and cultural relations. "As China's consulate general in Istanbul, we will work to strengthen cooperation," stressed Zhiliane.
