ANKARA - Turkey will implement taxation against damping on pipe connection parts coming from Bulgaria, Indonesia, India, Serbia-Montenegro and Thailand.
A notice of the Turkish Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade on the matter has been published in today's Official Gazette.
According to the notice, a tax of 400 USD per ton of pipe parts coming from Bulgaria, a tax of 253-400 USD per ton of pipe parts coming from Indonesia, a tax of 304-400 USD per ton of pipe parts coming from India, a tax of 400 USD per ton of pipe parts coming from Serbia-Montenegro and a tax of 147-400 USD per ton of pipe parts coming from Thailand will be applied for all imports coming into Turkey.
Meanwhile, a tax of 400 USD per ton of pipe parts coming from Brazil and a tax of 800 USD per ton of pipe parts coming from the People's Republic of China will be applicable against damping.
