ANKARA - The "International Economy Conference" organized by Turkish Economy Foundation will be held in Ankara from September 11th to 13th, 2006.
80 economists from 20 countries will participate in the conference and 252 communiqués will be presented.
Holding a press conference, Turkish Economy Foundation Chairman Prof. Dr. Ercan Uygur said that the conference would focus on financial stability, sustainable development, power generation and EU economy.
Uygur stated that Turkish President Ahmet Necdet Sezer would make opening remarks of the conference, noting that State Minister Ali Babacan would also deliver a speech in a panel to be held by Turkish Treasury Undersecretariat within the scope of the Conference.
