British Ambassador: Attack On Turkish Embassy In Baghdad Is A Typical Example Of Attacks Staged By Those Aiming At Disrupting Any Success In Iraq

ANKARA - British Ambassador in Ankara Peter Westmacott said on Tuesday that attack on Turkish Embassy in Baghdad was a typical example of the attacks staged by those who aimed at disrupting any success in Iraq.
When journalists asked whether there was a connection between motion on dispatch of soldiers to Iraq and attack on Turkish Embassy in Baghdad, Westmacott he could not say anything about this.
Westmacott said they thought that attacks in Iraq on U.N., embassies of Spain and Jordan and lately attack on Turkish Embassy in Baghdad were results of the same thought system.
Westmacott said he was pleased over the statement of Turkey that there would not be any deviation from its determination to contribute to restructuring of Iraq despite the suicide attack.
Westmacott said unfortunately there were groups who aim at disrupting what they were trying to do for Iraqi people.
