KONYA - The "Anatolian Eagle 2006/3 Military Exercise" in central city of Konya and the Mediterranean is being attended by Turkish Air, Land and Naval Forces and NATO's Awacs instruments.
According to sources, the third Anatolian Eagle Military Exercise began on September 4th at the Third Main Jet Base Command Center in Konya.
Sources said that the military exercise is taking place as a national education project.
The military exercise involves F-16 and F-4 jets, war helicopters and war ships.
Anatolian Eagle 2006/3 educational exercise utilizes computerized similation and no real weapons. It will end on September 15th.
